Our Bridge Valves are key to allowing the cool water in the hot line to be pushed into the cold line and eventually back to the water heater so no water is wasted.

1. How many Advanced Bridge Valves are included with the dead-end circulation kit?

| One Advanced Bridge Valve is inlcuded with each kit. Additional valves are available for purchase on our Pricing Page.

| 2. How many Advanced Bridge Valves can I use?
|
|
Up to 7 Advanced Bridge Valves can be installed in a home.

| 3. Why would I install more than 1 - Advanced Bridge Valve if I have only 1 dead-end line?
|
|
Speed. Having more than 1 place to push the cool water in the hot line back through the cold line to the water heater will significantly speed things up.

| 4. What if one area of my home is rarely used but it is a dead-end line. Do I need an Advanced Bridge Valve for that part of my home?
|
| No. If you don't care, you do not need another Advanced Bridge Valve. You can always add one later if you change your mind.

| 5. Are these valves the same as the Grundfos Comfort Valve?
|
|
Yes. Grundfos actually makes an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) version for us.

| 6. I have read that these valves leak hot water into the cold water line? Is that true?
|
|
Not with our systems. With other circulation systems the pump keeps pumping after the valve closes. When a pump keeps pumping it applies pressure to the valve and over time the valve will begin to seep hot water into the cold line.
Ours shuts off the pump once there is hot water in the valve and it closes.
